Gervasio MarcosignoriToday one of the brightest stars of the accordion is died at the age of 85 year. Gervasio Marcosignori, the Poet of the Accordion, one of the brightest talent by virtue of its great technical skills and interpretive skills is died this morning (9th March 2013) at the Hospital of Cesena. H an emblematic character, an artist and at the same time, a father figure to all accordionists who have always helped his availability and his wise counsel, goes away. Strumenti&Musica Magazine shares the grief of the whole town of Castelfidardo and all musicians who knew and frequented over the years and so participate in the final ovation for a friend who has given so much to the accordion and therefore, can never be forgotten.
