The Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome will host the sixth edition of “Ballo!”, the show dedicated to Italian folk dances. The event is scheduled for June 29th at 21:30 and will be edited by Ambrogio Sparagna, produced by the Fondazione Musica per Roma and implemented with the participation of the Orchestra Popolare Italiana of the Parco della Musica, the Coro Popolare directed by Anna Rita Colaianni and Groups of folk dancers coordinated by Francesca Trenta. Before considering the merits of the program it is definitely worth a quantitative point: take part in the show about three hundred artists, including singers, musicians and dancers. And among the guests remember Pizzicantò. This year’s edition is dedicated to traditional and therapeutic dances, in particular – as the title of the show “Santu Paulo of Tarante” – devotional forms related to the culte of St. Paul, protector and healer of “tarantate”. The program, in addition to the shows and the performances of the artists mentioned, involves a series of workshops aimed at all fans, to be held in the morning and the afternoon in the Auditorium.
