The Finnish accordionist Mika Väyrynen and the Polish of Motion Trio will inaugurate on friday night the first edition of the Internationales Akkordeonfestival Akkordiade wich will be held in Elmshorn, Germany, 23rd to 25th of September 2011.
Väyrynen is one of the most sought accordion and bandoneon concert performer and he’s host, as usual,of the most important international festivals, even if he performs with symphony orchestras and chamber music.
Motion Trio is a trio of accordion founded in 1996 by Janusz Wojtarowicz leader and author of most of the compositions that has emerged in Eastern Europe and then in the rest of the world. This is a phenomenon on the European and world music market. The other members of the group are world class accordionists like Pawel Baranek and Marcin Gałażyn.
Saturday evening will be the turn of the exhibition of Viktor Romanko, Russian accordion player capable of varying from classical music to folk music, until reach the rock and pop.
