We report an important event included in the celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Ernesto de Martino. It is a series of initiatives promoted by the School of specialization anthropology from the University of Perugia, to be held on Sunday 15 and Monday, November 16 in Perugia. The first event is scheduled for 16:30 at the Library Mario Marte Periodicals Room of the Complex of St. Peter, with the presentation of two books: “Il tarantismo oggi” by Govanni Pizza and “Ernesto de Martino” by Amalia Signorili. The presentations will intervene Andrea Carlino, Gianluca Grassigli, Bernardino Palumbo, Andrea Ravenda and Tullio Seppilli. Monday 16, from 9.30 at the Salon of Apollo in Palazzo della Penna, will be entirely dedicated to the figure and work of de Martino, with contributions from Paolo Apolito, Angelo Capecchi, Andrea Carlino, Flavio Cuniberto, Berardino Palumbo, Cristina Papa, Giovanni Pizza and Tullio Seppilli. At the conclusion of the meetings, at 19.30 at the Cafe Morlacchi, will be held on monologue by Paul Apolito titled “Rhythms of celebration”, with music by Emanuele Filograna.
