The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra presents a full program for the period of carnival. In particular, 26 to 28 February the protagonists of the musical evenings – which will take place respectively at the Rialto Theatre, Limassol, 20:30, at the Larnaca Municipal Theatre, 20:30 and Pallas Theatre, Paphos Gate, Nicosia, 20:30 – will be accordionists Miodrag Djordjević and Nenad Ljubenović, which, along with the orchestra, will be conducted by Maestro Alkis Baltas. The program provides the execution of the following works: R. Schumann: Carnival, op. 9 (orch.: M. Ravel), L. Delibes: Pas des fleurs (orch.: V. Stylianou), Sp Samaras: Chitarrata (orch.: A. Baltas), L. Anderson: Blue Tango (orch.: V. Stylianou), H. Salgan: A fuego lento, J. D ‘Arienzo: Este es el rey, O. Pugliese: the Yumba, D. Milhaud: Le boeuf sur le toit, op. 58 A. Troilo Sur, A. Pitch: Preparense, Chau Paris, SVP, Plus Ultra.
