A special event for all music lovers will be held in Venice from 8th to 10th April. M° Sergej Tchirkov will be the protagonist of a master class open to students, musicians and composers of every nationality who can participate as full students or audience members. Soloists: there will be 3 individual lesson for each selected participant (April 8, 9, 10). Each lesson will last 45 minutes. Duo or chamber music: there will be 3 lesson for each selected ensemble (April 8, 9, 10). Each lesson will last 45 minutes. The participants can follow all the individual lessons that will take place on the 8th, 9th and 10th of April according to this schedule: 9.30 / 13.30 – 14.30 / 18.30.
On April 8 (8 pm) at the Ateneo Veneto, Aula Magna, Sergej Tchirkov will give a conference open to the public on the contemporary accordion, in which he will analyze the piece he will play in a concert later the same day. The concert program will include pieces by Pierluigi Billone, Helmut Oehring, Sergej Newski, Pasi Lyytikäinen and Sehyung Kim. Candidates, who are interested to attend the master class as full students, have to send a CV and the program of the repertoire (preferably contemporary music) together with the completed application form to masterclass@pas-e.org by 25th March 2013. Audience members should send only the completed application form to the same address and by the same deadline.
Participants will be informed about their status in March 2013.
