The internationally renowned accordionist Frank Marocco will hold a masterclass dedicated to th jazz accordion at the 36th Accordion Festival of Castelfidardo. The course wich will take place on 21st and 22nd of September at the “Sala dei Convegni” (via Mazzini,6), will be focused on thed evelopment of a general draft for the use of the accordion in different jazz styles. Demonstrations of different possibilities of the combination of right and left hand, harmoniously, as well as rhythmically.Advanced techniques for the left hand to the use of the standard bass.Techniques for accompanying other jazz musicians and solutions for jazz groups.

SCHEDULE

21st September:

from 9.00 to 12.00 GROUP LESSONS

from 14.00 to 18.00 INDIVIDUAL LESSONS (30 minutes per participant).

The order of the participants will be determined with the instructor.

22nd September:

from 9.00 to 12.00 GROUP LESSONS

Registration fee for participants: 200 euro

There will be a maximum of 8 participants.
