Saturday, April 22, at the Teatro Subasio in Spello, there was the tribute to Adolfo Broegg. Who, as readers of these pages knows, he left us ten years ago. The event was organized by the friends and colleagues of all time, most of which revolve around “his” European Study Center of Medieval Music, a place that is more and more a reference point for musical events of different types: from concerts to workshops , from presentations at shows up in master classes, study etc. On Saturday evening, as well as participated in a tribute to the figure of Broegg (born in Rome in 1961 and graduated from the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in 1983), it is configured as an impressive contribution to the reflections of his music. They are in fact turns on the stage different extraction artists and training, to stretch a thread that would combine theater, ancient music, folk music, medieval and so on. Among the guests include some of the most important musicians of the Umbrian landscape, which have done so much to say and do the musical culture and the depth of a heritage certainly less known than others. Meanwhile, Russo and Gabriele Goffredo Degli Esposti, a significant part of Micrologus, the ensemble that the two founded with Broegg and Patrizia Bovi in 1984; the Mancuso brothers, authors and musicians from Sicily now ingrained in our region, Massimo Liberatori, Francesca Breschi and Peppe Frana, Bluesy Mood Band, Giordano Ceccotti and Giorgio Pinai.
