It is certainly the case for spending some considerations on the stage of Perugia Umbria Libri, which was held last weekend in St. Peter Monumental Complex. First, because the site chosen by the organizers is probably the most congenial to the event: it is extraordinarily beautiful, it is comfortable and adequate for an event that is both exhibition (publishers of Umbria and beyond), entertainment (concerts, sound installations) and depth (book presentations, meetings with authors and personalities from the world of international culture). Second, because St. Peter (from Friday 20 hosts a retrospective of Alberto Burri which will remain open until January 5, 2016) has the vocation to host major events. Because, besides being one of the most important monuments of the city, home to the University of Agriculture. And, for this, its spaces are already organized with all that can serve to concerts, exhibitions, conferences etc. Not surprisingly, concerts and meetings were well attended, thanks to the collaboration with Rai Radio Tre, which followed many live events and streaming radio. Among them it is worth mentioning “Songs of the ancient sea”, the four times concert by Micrologus ensemble, dedicated to the repertoire of music literature on the topic of the Sea (“Cantigas of Santa Maria”, “Cantigas de Amigo” and Mozarabic poems known as “Kharjas”). It was finally dedicated an important space to the repertoire of the Eighth rhyme, poetry and improvised high Sabine to the soundscape of this area, through a meeting with the poets – which took place live Radio Sunday 15 – and the presentation of “The bride complained and amateur … Poetry and music tradition in altosabina” by Piero G. Arcangeli, Giancarlo Palombini and Mauro Pianesi. The meeting, coordinated by Cristina Gherardini, was attended authors, poets Pietro and Donato De Acutis and ciaramella player Alessio Di Fabio.
