Also this year will be renewed the tradition of “Chiarastella”, the show featuring the songs of the Italian Christmas tradition. As the readers of these pages Know, it is an event organized by Ambrogio Sparagna and the Orchestra Popolare Italiana, who, accompanied by the great Coro Popolare (composed of about one hundred elements) directed by Anna Rita Colaianni, will perform at the Auditorium Parco della Musica the 5 and 6 January 2015. Tthis new edition of the program will be enriched by the presence of the Syrian singer Mirna Kassis, which will remind us of “the civilian population of Syria and all those areas of the world where religious fanaticism, hatred and violence reap innocent victims”. Are part of the Orchestra Popolare Italiana – who has since set up as a permanent ensemble that performs in the most important stages in the world – about twenty musicians and singers, who, through their training and their origins, were able to characterize the proposal in an original way. Among the most important interpreters of this ensemble include Laura Parodi, Eleonora Bordonaro, Orlando and Eliseo Mascia (“extraordinary interpreters of Sardinian launeddas repertoires “), the pipers Marco Iamele and Marco Tommasi, Raffaello Simeoni (“multi-instrumentalist and popular horn virtuoso “), Erasmo Treglia, Diego Micheli, Clara Graziano, Christian Califano, Arnaldo Vacca.
