It will take place in Ciconia, fraction of Orvieto, the concert of the Youth Orchestra of popular music of Umbria, directed by Ambrogio Sparagna. The event is organized on the occasion of the patronal feast of Ciconia and for the occasion will be guests of the Orchestra the Cherries on a Swing Set, a vocal group of Orvieto which is enjoying great success with critics and audiences.

The orchestra, as you can read in the presentation notes of the event, is characterized by a special group of folk instruments (accordions, accordion, bagpipes, pastoral woodwinds, drums), consisting of about twenty young instrumentalists and singers. The talents of the Youth Orchestra of popular Music propose a series of songs typical of Umbria and Lazio (narrative songs, begging, nursery rhymes and love strambotti) developed by Ambrogio Sparagna, one of the most active artists of the new popular music, author of a vast repertoire of songs and ballads inspired by the great musical tradition of farming.
