The Lou Dalfin are a piece of history of popular music, as well as the excitement, interest and study that took shape on issues related to expressions of oral tradition and has internationally defined an interesting and deep scenario. This year’s celebration of the occitan band – mother of the band of music, research and revived the Occitan culture – celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary. And the program that has been prepared is a collection of music, crafts, pictures, thoughts on what training has done and continues to do for many years. As you can see by scrolling through the program, although the Occitan music is the pivot of the event, guests and proposals are very different. And they offer the opportunity to immerse themselves in an articulate and pleasant design. First, because it comes out of simple self-congratulation, promoting many different expressions and projects. One example is the exhibition of violin making and crafts, as well as the stages of the hurdy-gurdy, accordion, flutes, bagpipes and Basque dances. And they are a confirmation performances of the band of Scottish bagpipes Caledonian Companion, who will perform on October 27 at the Museum of Civiltà Cavalleresca in the ancient prison of Castile, of Provençal Corou de Berra, who will perform in the church of St. John the October 28, accompanied by Badia Corale Val Chisone. It closes on November 1 with the great meeting of traditional musicians from the valleys Chisone, Germanasca, Varaita and Vermenagna.
