“Voltarelli sings Profazio” is the title of the new work of the singer Peppe Voltarelli, output for Imbalances May 20. It is a book with cd, in which the artist from Calabria – the “most whimsical of crooner of our house” – recounts, in a framework of articulated references, the repertory of Otello Profazio, one of the deepest voices and consciences of Italian expressive tradition. The release also introduces a new series of imbalances, called “ridges”, “dedicated to works where poetry is converted into music and music is extended in writing to tell emblematic events of national cultural history or even offer a new look and unusual on the horizon of our daily lives “. Umbrian friends who want to immerse themselves in this journey in Calabria – relocated in this way in the modern world of today – will attend two events to present the work of the former lead singer of the heavy portion of the Clouds. The first will take place at the library Alterocca Terni May 16: the author will be in the company of Francesco Camuffo, President of ARCI of Terni and researcher. The second is scheduled May 17 in Perugia, the Great Library of Ponte San Giovanni (with the author will be present Floriana Lenti).
