Roughly 10,000 participants from 15 different countries are expected to attend one of the world’s largest accordion orchestra festival. The 11th edition of the World Music Festival will take place from 9th to 12th May in Innsbruck. Among the events there will be a Concertino performed by the students of the International Accordion Teacher and President of the Conféderation Mondiale de l’Accordéon Frédéric Deschamps; a concert by the orchestra HOHNERklang playing popular party hits as well as some songs of their current repertoire at the “Abend der Nationen” in the Saal Dogana. The same orchestra will also accompany the price-giving ceremony on Sunday, May 12th at the Olymoic arena. The Mexican band Los Mighty Calacas will be present too performing at the Saal Innsbruck.
