“Di canti e di storie” is the title of a series of events that are taking place these days in the Valley Savuto (CS), and they see the participation of several artists of the Italian folk music. As the title suggests, it is a prize and an exhibition. An award that has the aim of promoting new works and emerging artists. It will be presented today by a jury of scholars, journalists, music critics and musicians (Maurizio Agamennone, Lucilla Galeazzi, Alessio Lega, Elisabetta Malantrucco, Nicola Scaldaferri, Timisoara Pinto, Sandro Portelli, Gianluca Veltri e Peppe Voltarelli). An event that wants to strengthen the link between the study, research and entertainment. In this framework the program includes presentations of books (“La Calabria si racconta” and “Lavorare con lentezza. Enzo del Re, il corpofonista”), meetings and reading (“Forever Young”) and concerts. Just a concert closes tonight the show. Indeed, it is scheduled at 18 performances by Carlo Muratori, with guests Lucilla Galeazzi and Peppe Voltarelli.
