Klingenthal celebrates the 50th International Accordion Competition from 6th to 12th May 2013. The program is enriched by important concerts by international performers such as Friedrich Lips, Juan José Mosalini, Stefan Hussong, Bayan-Mix, Beltango, Elsbeth Moser, Tobias Morgenstern, Concertino, Matthias Matzke and Victor Hugo Villena along with the symphony orchestras Stadtorchester Klingenthal and Vogtland Philharmonie Greiz/Reichenbach.

The International competition categories include both soloists and groups while concerts and entertainment will enrich the program.

Among the Jury members Lulu Wang (China), Ivan Koval (Czech), Jeanette Dyremose (Denmark), Jacques Mornet (France), Jürgen Ganzer (Germany), Gudrun Wall (Germany), Elsbeth Moser (Germany), Tobias Morgenstern (Germany), Stefan Hussong (Germany), Ulf Seifert (Germany), Geir Draugsvoll (Norway), Bogdan Dowlasz (Poland), Aleksandar Nikolic (Serbia), Tibor Rácz (Slovakia) and Friedrich Lips (Russia).
