This year the festival Music of Peoples has presented a special program, and for the selection of Italian and foreign musicians. A glance at the bill you realize how much work and dedication will be expended in the organization and want to maintain a differentiated programming and high profile. The festival began on September 19 and will run until 14 November 2015. It is divided into two main sections. The first is “Sounds of Earth” and was inaugurated with “50 years of Bella Ciao”, one of the most significant of our popular music, and this year has been recalled by Riccardo Tesi (artistic direction of Franco Fabbri), Lucilla Galeazzi, Elena Ledda, Luisa Cottifogli, Alessio Lega, Maurizio Geri and Gigi Biolcati. Another show of great importance is that of Ginevra Di MArco, titled “Todo cambia”, dedicated to the repertoire of Mercedes Sosa, the largest Argentine folk singer. As for the second section, entitled “Women from the Other World”, will be on stage of the Auditorium Flog great artists on the international world music. Saturday, October 3, at 21.30, will perform Carmen Souza. The Portuguese and Cape Verdean descent singer present “Trio PSK Africa Railway Project”, a show tied to the musical expression of the Portuguese-speaking areas, which are also space rhythms ranging from salsa to samba to soul and bossa nova. Saturday 17 is passed from Portugal to Galicia with Cristina Pato, Galician gaita player that has active collaboration with major international artists, including The Chieftains, World Symphony Orchestra and Chicago Symphony. On October 17 we return to Cape Verde with Lura, accompanied by an acoustic sextet in which appear Carlos Paris on percussion, violin and Guillaume Singer Antonio Jesus Santos Vieira floor.
