It’s just finished the 18th edition of Val Tidone Competition, that’s one of the most important international competition for young musicians coming from all over the world.

The record of candidates, 449 from 50 different countries, is the proof.

The secret of this success is the high level of the competitors, also the professionalism of the jury members and a great organization.

The concert categories “Silvio Bengalli”, “Carlo Civardi”, “Contessa Tina Orsi Anguissola Scotti” were won by Ruben Micieli, Michal Gajda, and the Piano duo Zilian-Zhao (second prize).

About accordion Giancarlo Palena (3rd Premio Civardi), Arcangelo Pignatelli (1st Cat B) and Raffaele Gareri (2nd Cat F) are to be reported for having keep high our school colours.

Val Tidone Competition is inserted in the Val Tidone International Music Event, an event which host the greatest musicians in the world and new talents.
