We collect the news – and with pleasure relaunch – the imminent release of the new album by Gang, the group founded in 1983 and led by the brothers Sandro and Marino Severini. In these pages we talked about the album a few months ago, at the launch of the crowdfunding campaign, through which the band has managed to collect a figure ten times higher than that required. As it was announced then, the title of the album is “Blood and ashes” and will become the first of unreleased made after “Controversial” of 2000. The release is scheduled for February 2015, but the first single “In My Garden” will be published in December 2014. Meanwhile were released some of the names of those who contributed to the making of the album. First of all, the special guest Garth Hudson, accordionist and composer, member of The Band, the group that accompanied Bob Dylan during the tour of 1966 and recorded with the singer of Dulut “Blonde on Blonde” (1966), “The basement tapes “(1967) and “Planet waves “(1974). The producer is Jono Manson, songwriter, composer and producer originally from New York, who has previously worked with other artists of the Italian scene, as Massimo Bubola and Andrea Parodi. Finally, remember – demonstrating that the musical quality of the album will certainly be high – the presence of the horn section that often accompanies Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band, pianist Jason Crosby and keyboardist Brant Leeper.
