The association Sonidumbra organized a series of workshops on dance and techniques of accordion, tambourine and traditional percussion.
First dates are on 16 and 17 February at the MAP Musical Academy in Ponte San Giovanni.
The seminar on accordion will be by Marco Baccarelli, musician and researcher in the field of popular music Umbria. The course will be dedicated to instrumental repertoires, and in addition to classical teaching, it will propose a type of oral, by which listen, watch, try and learn.
The course “Danzar l’Umbria” by Simona Fioretti, will be dedicated to the traditional dances of the region, which, in addition to the practice, will explore the historical and social meanings.
The second round of workshops is planned for Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 February.
The course will be dedicated to the percussion instruments used in the field of oral tradition. Will be about techniques but also the history, from early music to classical and traditional, through the many examples that offer rich Italian repertoires.
