“Instant songs” is the title of a project that aims to bring the song to its informative function. The promoter is Massimo Bubola, songwriter and borderline author of songs rooted in the tradition of modern Italian song, such as those written with De Andrè for the album “Rimini” and “L’Indiano”. With this new project, Bubola reconsiders the song, defining a new profile that is directly connected to the tradition of storytelling and loose sheets. In this way the instant song reflects a more structured entertainment, so that the song conveys the impressions and feelings of the singer, but at the same time framing them in an account of facts which often other media do not give the right emphasis. As you can read in the website dedicated to the project, “a true story as heinous as it may affect and impress deeply the collective imagination runs out journalistically, by their nature, within a short time. The instant songs, would be a record in the form of music that remains to speak, as well as the ballads of storytellers who accompanied us to this day”.
