It is “Play the folk”, an unusual event for our region, which saw the participation of musicians from different worlds but which are compared with the musical heritage of the oral tradition of the Nera Valley. “This project is meant to experience a new form of content delivery, using contemporary tools and employing the vocal style of the new scenarios of traditional music umbra. The ultimate goal – say the organizers – is to spread and popularize folk poetry, orality and Umbrian dialects through electronic and contemporary music. With this mixture of different musical genres will attempt to approach the world of youth popular culture from its gathering places, to strengthen the sense of belonging that orality can return in its forms, deconstructed and reinterpreted by a DJ among the most successful in international level, which Dj Ralf, together with the percussion of Tetraktis “.
