From May 10 to 12 will be held in Rome the International Meeting of the tambourine. The event, organized by the Società Italiana Tamburi a Cornice, is now in its seventh edition and will be held in an exceptional location: the Città dell’Altra Economia (CAE) in Testaccio. During the three days there will be concerts, workshops, debates, exhibitions, exhibition and sale of instruments. Among the many initiatives and many industry experts – among which we can mention Arnaldo Vacca, Giancarlo Paglialunga, Daniele Sepe and Mascarimirì – remind the Israeli percussionist Elias Habib seminar, to be held Saturday, May 11 from 11.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 18.00 . The course is open to percussionists who already know the techniques and basic rhythm. It will address the advanced techniques of riqq, the frame-drum of the Middle East.
