It will take place on 17 and May 18, 2014 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome “Errare Humanum Est”, the festival of folk and world music dedicated to the narration of trips and more unusual routes. Among the guests of the rich program remember Malicanto and Mascarimirì, two of the most representative groups of neo-traditional music of Salento, who will perform on 18 at 21.00, respectively with a repertoire of “serenades and dances of old singers”, and excerpts from the album “Tam!”, which was released a few months ago for editions Dilinò/Puglia Sound.
The evening of the 17th, at 21.00, will perform some soloists of the Orchestra Popolare Italiana, committed – as you can read in the notes dedicated to the event – “to tell the music in the ancient world and still present Sicilian women, workers, lovers, mothers, passionate, wild and saints. Languages and dialects forgotten, as the gaelic Italic and arbereshe, stories and iconic characters between verses, words, traditional melodies and rhythms charmers”. The title of this event is “Vinni la bedda. Women in the Sicilian folk poetry” and will take the stage Eleonora Bordonaro (voice), Cristiano Califano (guitar), Antonello di Matteo (clarinet, bagpipe), Arnaldo Vacca (percussion), Erasmo Treglia (hurdy-gurdy, torototela, shawm) and Ambrogio Sparagna (accordions).
