The festival is one of the Umbrian most active in the music scene inspired by folk and can count on an experience that has established a significant distance with other similar initiatives. On the other hand, while keeping alive the attention to popular music, especially in recent years, the organizers have been able to extend the proposal of the festival. This led them to involve major artists and scholars/musicians such as Ambrogio Sparagna or Lucilla Galeazzi. The latter, in particular, have been able to handle ambiguous space that is generated between the research and the re-proposal, a complex project and a commitment that has led them to represent, along with other big names at the international level, a new form of folk that is having more and more success in Italy.
Among the artists who will perform this year include first Vinicio Capossela, who will play on August 22 with the now famous Banda della Posta, Ginevra Di Marco, who will perform with Riccardo Tesi August 21 and the Orchestra Giovanile di Musica Popolare by Ambrogio Sparagna, August 24.
