Val Tidone International Music Competition – 18th edition  11-21 June 2015

Konstantin Ischenko - Concorsi ValtidoneClassical, contemporary, pop, folk, rock, ethnic and jazz music: the International Music Competition of Val Tidone is now at  its 18th edition. All these kinds of music are grouped in different categories and instruments: accordion, piano, strings, singing, chamber music, composition. As usual, the contest offers valuable prizes: over € 20,000.00 in cash, 10 concerts and moreover recordings and scores publications for the composers.

The competition of Val Tidone, to be held from 11th to 21st June 2015, along the years has always played an important role and an high-level musical moment in the international scene. This success is due ​​also to the fame of the jury members who have succeeded over the years and having a prestigious role in the music world (directors and teachers of conservatory, famous orchestra members, international musicians).

 

 

The 2014 edition winners are:

Piano Prize “Silvio Bengalli”: not assigned

Prize for solo accordionist “Carlo Civardi”: Tadas Motiecius (Lithuania)

Prize for chamber groups “Anguissola Scotti”: Chopin Piano Quintet (Poland)

Composition Competition “Egidio Carella” – Maria Radeschi Section A (Italy), Section B – not assigned

 

Registrations expire on April 30th, 2015 for the performers and April 18th for the composers.
