It is expected 24 to 27 July 2014, the exhibition “;are e Miniera” (“Sea and Mines “), with the participation of many important names of the panorama of Italian folk music. The event, organized by Elenaledda Vox and under the artistic direction of Mauro Palmas, takes place in Gonnesa – a town not far from Cagliari, Sardinia – and seminars will focus on music, song and folk dance. Among the artists who – as was announced in the press releases issued by the organization – will participate there are Riccardo Tesi, Nando Citarella, Elena Ledda, Simonetta Soro, Pietro Cernuto,Giuseppe Molinu, Fabio Furia, Simone e Nicolò Bottasso. All courses take place – following the main idea of the festival – organized in such a way as to coincide with the interests and skills of not only musicians and connoisseurs of traditional musical languages , but also to amateurs and curious approach to these the first time. Among the courses that are activated are the following: ensemble music (with professors Simone e Nicola Bottasso), diatonic accordion (held by Riccardo Tesi), popular song (with Simonetta Soro), execution and construction of reed or pastoral flutes (held by Fabio Cernuto), Sardinian dance (with Giuseppe Molinu), bandoneon (held by Fabio Furia), tambourine, tammorra and folk dances (with Nando Citarella). All the seminars will be held in the school Giorgio Asproni.
